Wood table protection?

Just got a new kitchen table - made of wood or wood veneer. We use tablecloth, placemats, & coasters to protect from accidents but looking to see if there is some type of wax, polish, finish that we could apply to really protect it? I think the sales guy said something about rubbing a car wax on it would help protect but that just doesn't seem right. Is there a coating that works for your dining table?

For those who love werewolves, help me find a story?

What did I do wrong (sound)?

My headphones were giving off uneven sounds so I went into Idt HD sound on my laptop so i could try to fix it and somewhere in trying to find where to do that all the sound shut off. Usually in situations like that people want to believe that everyone is on their side. So in case they ever make signs supporting a cause they would want you there with them ranting and going to jail for the cause. And when you do lie they think that you don't respect them enough to tell them the truth. So its really a no win situation. True paramore fans??

I have actually been a fan of paramore WAY before the Misery Business. I randomly stumbled upon their music while looking for new bands to listen to back in 2005 and during this time they had the album All We Know Is Falling... Later i saw them live for the first time at Bamboozle '06 and there were only 30 people in front of their stage. It was the same for warped tour that year. Bamboozle 07 the crowd got bigger i would say about 200-300 people and then Bamboozle 08 when they were on the main stage the crowd was HUUUUGE......i jumped to see the crowd behind me and it was as if there was no end to the amount of people there. im mostly into screamo/punk/metal bands like silverstein or the devil wears prada and underoath but Hayle is really talented and Ive always loved her.lol. i remember meeting her a lot when they weren't that big and actually taking pictures with them. Now i can barely do that or even see them clearly on stage. They have completely gone mainstream.

Twin stroller help - please anyone?

I am looking for an inline double stroller that can take two chicco car seats (Keyfit 30 to be exact). I have yet to find a stroller that takes these car seats. Can anyone recommend a good stroller? We have checked out the BabyTrend Double Snap'nGo (which doesn't take chicco) and the Kolcraft Contours Options Tandem Stroller and I am not sure if this takes the chicco car seats and some of the reviews on babie's r us website about this stroller weren't good (and it is a very heavy stroller). Why is my husband so rude sometimes?

My Husband and I are still some what newlyweds 3 months will be 2 years. But Lately i seem to be doing everything wrong things are a little stressful with finances but we knew it was going to be like this when we BOTH decided to be full time students. Anyways sometimes things are great and he is the sweetest guy, but others he can just be so rude FOR instance he asked me to watch and learn how to cut his hair the last time he got it cut so i could do it next time. Getting a Cav Platoon as Armor Officer in the Army?

I'm in ROTC right now and thinking out my wishlist ahead of time. Right now, my top three are Infantry, Armor, and Field Artillery (interested in something combat arms related as you can see). Basically, just wondering how I can better my chances of getting a Cav platoon if I branch Armor. Do you get a duty-station wishlist like when you're enlisted when you're commissioning? If so, does putting down a duty station like Campbell, Drum, or Bragg better your chances of getting a Platoon of 19D's since those are light units? Any help is appreciated.

Betta Fish Care- What kind of sickness is this?

I've have my betta Momo for little over a month now and he's been a happy fish. He made a bubble nest and all. Well after I changed his bowl the first time he seemed okay and he ate fine. Then last week he started to swim around less and eat less (which was odd for him considering that this fish liked to eat and was constantly moving around even following my finger). Over the weekend he started to slink towards the bottom of the fish bowl and lay there. I thought it was his water so I changed his water again. He started to staay more towards the top of the water now and get some of his energy back, but he's still not eating, not really energetic , and he has these red almost bump/spot looking things at the end of his fins. I looked it up everywhere and couldn't find anything and I called petsmart (where I got the fish) but they said that if something happened to my fish there's always more. Can anyone help me?

Could a dog bite on my leg cause this recent skin infection?

A year or so ago my friends dog that is an English Bull dog attacked me one day when she had her off the leash. Her dog bit my left lower leg on my shin. It did hurt like hell and punctured my skin. I dismissed it because it was my friend despite her dog not properly socialized. However, a year or so later I noticed where the dog punctured my shin, it formed bumps and those bumps never went a way. I then had varicose veins appear later on the bite site. Now, I am experiencing what appears to be a skin infection where the bite site was before. It is re-occurring itching and open lesions from scratching. Now the skin is really scaly like the barrier of the skin is depleting. Could this be from the dog bite? Could it had caused some form of blockage in the veins leading to this belated infection? It is only localized where the bite site was. What do I do? I do recall her dog never being updated on vaccines etc.

I have a rabbit that I rescued. So, never realizing how problematic his coat was going to be, he now has this HUMONGOUS mat. I'm pretty sure he's a Jersey Wooly or maybe a mix. a nuclear missile launched from a helicopter at me and my brother (thats what we said in my dream,) It launched right at us and we ran away, my brother jamp across a fence and i tripped. Beardie not eating and sleeping a lot?

My beardie around a year old and is normally pretty perky. Now that the weather is getting colder and I don't have central heat in my house, he's been getting lazy and has basically stopped eating. I got him a second light to keep the heat at the right temps. The temps are around 95 daytime and 75-80 nighttime. I feed him live gut loaded vitamin dusted crickets, kale, mustard greens, carrots, and occasionally blueberries and mealworms. Lately he's been staying either in his tunnel or on his hammock sleeping and he won't eat even when we try with tongs, he backs away from it. Could it be that he's going into a semi-hibernation or could there be something else going on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Back in may of 07, I got cut at a manicurists. So in december of that same year, I had an HIV test. I got my results on january 17th, it was negative. I'm asking this because, for about a year now, I've been experiencing abdominal pains, diarrhea/constipation, sometimes when I go to the bathroom, all that will come out is this fatty mucus stuff, not even stool. I also have been getting chronic fatigue, body aches, muscle cramps, tingling in my extremities, the scale says I haven't lost anything, but my clothes are noticeably looser, depression, anxiety, joint pain, ataxia (loss of balance), and a whole bunch of other things. My celiac levels were slightly elevated, as was my WBC count. My blood pressure was a little low. Someone also mentioned the possibility of candida overgrowth. I do have a lot of the symtoms for that. What causes candida overgrowth? I heard that the overuse of antibiotics can cause it sometimes. I took some antibiotics in march last year for an ear infection.

How do i go faster in my cobalt ls manual?

ok i've been driving it for almost a month now and am pretty good..the other day i went out and my friend timed a 0-60mph...i got a 11.46...at the time i didn't know how good that was till we got back to his house and i looked up that cobalt ls's can do that in around 8.5 seconds...i'm not sure what i'm doing wrong i start off nice with just a bit of spin on the tires..i'm guessing it's something with using the clutch to keep the rpm up high but i don't really know how to do it..i mean say im going 30mph in second gear and am about to red line at the redline i shift to third...but then i'm back down to 3 and a half or 4 thousand rpm...which doesn't give me much hp gain...what is the magic rpm for the cobalt and how do i maintain that while shifting through the gears?

Your life and someone elses is more important than that phone call or burger your shoving in your mouth or even getting in that so called important newspaper article. If you are running late for work and think getting dressed or ready for work in your car while driving, will get you there quicker, think again, what if you were in an accident, then you will really be late for work if you even make it through that accident or even maybe getting pulled over for inattentive driving. Get up earlier so you can get dressed and ready for work at home instead of in the car. If you get a phone call, stop the darn car and talk instead of when you are driving. Hungry? Stop somewhere and eat instead of in the car while driving. Getting somewhere a few minutes later than you wanted to wont kill you one bit. Not paying attention to driving could kill ya and maybe some other innocent drivers out on the roads.

What to do with my defiant child only in 1st Grade?

My son is 6 years old and in 1st Grade he has been going to this school for three years now. Last year was not as bad as this year. This year he is in the principals office nearly everyday no exaggerating on this. WoW Pally Or Warrior?

I cant decide between a Paladin or a warrior in WoW, I know pallys heal and r good at DPs and also Tanking but warriors are good at Tanking and DPS, and i dont really care about healing, apart from when im grinding. Fix-it citation?

ok so i got a fix-it citation for front tints and blacked out taillights but I can't find the citation i received. I tried looking on the la superior court online citation search and it says its not in the system. it also says that it may take up to 21 days for the citation to show up online. I have already removed the taillights. What happens if i just ignore the citation? apparently its not in their system right now.

If you want to get help funding from a historical society then you have to keep it all original. If you are looking to turn it around and sell it the trend is open floor plans and many bedrooms. The bedroom addition would be a great investment! You have to be careful with the attic as a bedroom because there are fire codes saying that you have to have an alternate escape route if you make another bedroom in there - like a window. Also bathroom additions I've heard bring up the value and having a master suite. Definitely bring all of the plumbing and wiring up to date. To make sure you could turn it and sell it just do some research on what makes homes more valuable in today's market. Sounds like a fun project! Good luck.

Air France canceled one of my flights?

I have an itinerary of 4 flights from Atlanta-London-New Delhi-Brussels-Atlanta. Both the trans-atlantic legs are on Air France Operated by Delta airlines. I received an email from my booking agent Expedia.com saying that the last flight Brussles-Atlanta is cancelled by Air France and I need to consider other options. However both Air france and Delta are allowing bookings on that flight for that specific date. Has anyone experienced this before? Is there a way to confirm if the flight is canceled?

What causes really bad leg cramps?

I often get leg cramps that I would not wish upon my worst enemy! I get them after I exercise but I also will get them randomly and they can be really bad. I had an episode recently after I worked my legs more than usuall and it was a hellish experience. These are not your normal leg cramps they are sever and hurt really bad. Any advice?

Its also going to depend what type of plane your on. Much like cars, all different planes have different power to weight ratios and therefore accelerate faster or slower than others. So basically your going to feel the G-force more in some types of planes than others. Another thing that contributes to the feeling of the speed is the cabin noise you experience. Planes with under wing engines are generally quieter than planes with fuselage mounted engines, the louder the noise the faster it seems :) Of course, aircraft age will affect the noise it makes aswell. Interesting thing is--we don't see seashells in core samples of the river (layers of limestone the planet over have sea shells in them)--we see a gradation in the layering of sediment from the flood (boulders with spaces filled with sand, mud, and organic detritus followed by a layer of smaller stones with the voids once again filled with detritus, followed by sands and silts and muds--looks nothing like for example the geology of the grand canyon? So--if there was a great flood--why wouldn't an area that experienced a great flood have the same features as the entire planet?

Originally we planned to have this child together. In retrospect, I believe he wanted to guarantee that I'd stick around which is why he was so insistent on pregnancy. His controlling behaviors (accusing me of cheating and threating to leave me and have with someone else if I didnt have with him) and my sense of being trapped killed the relationship. There has been a lot of emotional blackmail, primarily from his side because he wanted me to focus on him rather than on the pregnancy, family or friends. It is not that I had no focus on him, but what I did was never enough and he did not respect me emotionally. One week before the birth, he broke up with me, but insisted on coming over every day and calling. Seeing as how he was noncommittal towards me and has blown hot and cold throughout the pregnancy, I have ignored his communication. Now that my family is staying with me, he is staying away. I am considering having an adoption because I dont feel I would like to raise a child alone and be a single mother. I am also considering that if I kept the baby, I would most certainly want nothing to do with him. Help!!
