What did I do wrong (sound)?

My headphones were giving off uneven sounds so I went into Idt HD sound on my laptop so i could try to fix it and somewhere in trying to find where to do that all the sound shut off. I didn't mute anything so idk why it happened. I eventually got to headphone and speaker balance and i was able to hear those, but i still cant hear any music or stuff on my computer. What are some thing i can try to get it back?
