Why did america pull out of vietnam?

After 15 years of senseless killing (53,250 American Men and Women) and the uproar on College campuses,the pull out started in the Spring of 70' with Aviation units of the Marine Corps pulling back to Iwakuni,Japan and Okinawa.The Vietnamese had successfully trounced the Japanese occupation and later crushed the French colonists and the Foreign Legion.The VN were experts at Jungle warfare and had enough of Foreigners occupying their country and using up it's resources.By the time the US got involved (Special Forces advisers in 1959)the VN were up to speed and more than prepared to wear us down by attrition and terror.We had no business getting involved and sending a Generation of American teenagers over there to be killed and maimed.By April of 75 the NVA were marching on Saigon and the Marines were flying our last diplomats out of the US emby by helicopter.Now we have been involved with the pagan,cave dwelling Afghan tribes learning NOTHING from the Russian defeat there and our own mistakes in S/E Asia.The Idiots at the Puzzle palace and the US Congress continue to place our kids in harms way to benefit themselves and their Big business buddies.If you are going to write an essay,ask your Congessman to write you a letter explaining why He or She continues to support the stupidity and madness of the Nobama administration.We pulled out of Vietnam because the American people were furious and the Congress finally listened and de-funded the madness.
