Democrats can deny the "rights" of enemy combatants, Why Can't Bush?

Very misleading. President Franklin D. Roosevelt was a Democrat back when the Southern Dixiecrats largely controlled the party. That was back when being Republican meant being anti-war, anti-Prohibition and for small government. Both of the parties today nowhere resemble anything that they originally were.
