Did HERCULES exist? His FEATS were more impressive than Jesus'?

My buddy told me that Hercules displayed more magic powers than Jesus. I looked into it a bit, and I think he is right. Hercules defeated all sorts of super powered beasts, yet Jesus was killed by some measly regular humans. It looks to me like Hercules is the one to back here. What do you guys think?
